so i just signed up for an etsy showcase - in hopes of getting more traffic in the store. i am banking on the idea that people might add me to their favorites and return to my store around, say, the holidays....

it seems to me that everything ought to be produced with an eye toward design. i don't mean ikea wood-chip mass-produced nightmares - but affordable objects that utilize design to solve little everyday problems. those are the objects which consistently impress me as i shop around and browse blogs - and those are the items i have decided to focus on from here on out. they're smart - both clever and attractive. a winning combination.
